Carrot Juice for Glowing Skin

IMG_2440.jpg

As you’ll hear me say over and over, fruits and vegetables are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to heal and cleanse your body. When you are juicing, you are getting these nutrients in a massive way in a short amount of time. Could you sit down and eat all the ingredients in this juice? Yes. Will you? Maybe. Juicing heals your body in a rapid way. Wheres the fiber? That is normally the main question that gets brought up about juicing. Yes, fiber is essential for the gut and overall health but this is just another tool to do the same thing. And, what you are eating the rest of the day should be fiber packed anyway so no need to stress about drinking a fiberless drink;) Juice alkalinizes your body which is key to avoid sickness, inflammation, and disease.

So why carrot juice?

Carrot juice is always one of my go to juices when I want to brighten my complexion. The phytonutrients in carrots can not only clear your skin but actually give your skin a tint of orange. Makes for a nice glow in the winter! (Add turmeric for more of a boost). This juice will also boost your immunity and protect your overall eye health. I have a family history of extremely bad eye health so I’m determined to beat it with juicing!
